Cardiovascular Endurance is a major element of soccer. The FITT Principle can also help increase ones cardiovascular endurance making it easier to play.
F: A way to apply the FITT Principle to help your cardiovascular endurance is by starting off with how Frequent you do it. Lets say you go for a jog everyday instead of going to training once a week.
I: You can start by slowly jogging for about 1/3 of the lap (low intensity) and then around the 2/3 mark you can start jogging then when your about to finish you can sprint the rest of the way back to where you started.
T: The type of fitness that the FITT Principle is being added to is "Cardiovascular Endurance".
T: This is to be done over a 6 week time period so that the body can get used to the amount of activity that is done in each lap.
